RENOVATION: UNIT 1 NEW KITCHEN AND STAIRS, THIRD FLOOR WALK UP, UNIT 2 KITCHEN AND BATHROOM

Triplex was converted to luxury 2 storey main unit and smaller attic and basement units. Unit 1 refurbished kitchen and built new floating staircase. Unit 2,  re-design bathroom and kitchen, insulated sunroom with view of parliament building and generated extra storage. Finished basement with separate back entrance, small kitchenette, living room, bathroom and bedroom.

ORIGINAL CONDITIONS

Old improperly converted triplex. floors were uneven by 4″ to 5″ in waves on second floor.  Very small outdated kitchens and bathrooms.

SOLUTION

Unit 1: first and second floors write joined by a staircase and a three bedroom luxury was the result. Large country kitchen, spacious marble hallway, restored fireplace, re-finished floors, added master ensuite bathroom. Floors were straightened. Unit 2(Attic): new kitchen distribution, custom cabintery, opening new walls to increase storage. Refurbished bathroom with new tiling, lighting and fixtures. Re-built access to unit 2. Unit 3: Install bathroom, kitchenette and a separated entrance.
